This Saturday (13th April 2013) from 10am until 1pm we will be holding a Hymnathon. What is a Hymnathon I hear you ask? It's 3 hours of singing our favourite hymns, listening to poems, readings and refreshments. If you want to be a part of it, whether you are just popping in for half an hour or to join in for the whole session, you are most welcome. If you would like to be sponsored for your part in the event, sponsor forms can be collected from the church or from any member of the PCC. Alternatively if you would like to sponsor a singer, contact Aubrey on 01884 255248 or Jackie on 01884 255814.
The hymnathon is a part of our efforts to raise money needed to repair the church roof. We are also asking if people want to purchase a slate on the roof on the back of which your name will be written and you will become a part of the church history. Slates are just £4 each.
